Asian Gate

Inspired by found objects.

Asian Gate was inspired by 4 bent pipes found at the junk yard. Assembled to create the idea of movement through altered space I added fused glass windows. Mounted on a base formed from bend sections of flat steel formed over an armature, the form suggests a mountain top.  It stands 6’ tall and has been shown at the State Fair of Texas.
